My Review:

The Magestaff is Book 1 in The Seven Kingdoms series. It's a fairy tale adaptation with orphan Cendrilla being the main character. She lives with an evil guardian and her two daughters. Cendrilla flees after being forced to marry a half-ogre. This coming-of-age story is packed with adventure and violence with every page you turn or click. We meet plenty of traditional fairy tale characters, but not at all as we know them. There are fun twists and turns throughout. The ending is a partial ending (NOT a cliffhanger!) with many more books in the series.

Disclosure: I received a free digital copy of this book and this is my honest review.
