The Wild Curse

The Wild Curse
Faerie Sworn Book 2

The Wild Curse (Faerie Sworn Book 2) by [Nieto, Ron C.]

About the Book:

Title: The Wild Curse | Author: Ron C. Nieto | Pages: 328 | Genre: Fantasy/Fairy Tales | Recommended Ages: Young Adult/New Adult

Book Description:

Faeries play a game mortals cannot win... or can they?

Lily Boyd has made many mistakes: she has trusted blindly, she has freely given her name and she has indebted herself to faeries both dark and light. It seems she's already lost the game, but she still has one winning card up her sleeve: the Wild Horn, the one item of power that can summon the unstoppable Wild Hunt.

With the balance between Seelie and Unseelie Courts in her hands, Lily must wisely choose her allies: should she side with Cadowain, the light Knight who swore to help her find her missing grandmother? Or should she keep trusting Troy, the dark Trickster who has the power to command her at will through her True Name?

Either way, Lily needs to keep her head and formulate a plan to find her grandmother before it's too late. She needs to remind the immortal faeries that she, too, is willing to play... and they're not unbeatable.

When playing for the win, do not lose sight of what you're willing to sacrifice.

My Review:

The Wild Curse is the second book in Ron C. Nieto's enthralling Faerie Sworn series. There are also two short stories that are available for free via her newsletter. I can't get enough of her books! There is just enough wit, double-crossing, twists and turns, and romance in this fantasy adventure to keep me wanting more. I love the bad boy, Troy, who isn't all that bad and Lily, the human, who has the right blend of innocence and smarts. Will they work together or against each other and can they stand up to the Seelie and Unseelie Courts? Will love win in the end? We'll only find out in Book 3!

Ron C. Nieto

Ron C. Nieto is a fantasy and romance author who has been writing in her secluded fortress for the longest time. Recently, she had a talk with her cat and decided that she should share her creations, because it was selfish to hoard them all for herself.
