The Last Two Faerie Sworn Books

The Last Two Faerie Sworn Books
and a Linky

It's always sad to get to the end of a wonderful series. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading all of Ron C. Nieto's Faerie Sworn books and I'm really going to miss Troy and Lily. I've also had the pleasure of interviewing this talented author who is skilled with words and you can check out that interview here. Today's reviews are of the last two books in the series. I've included links to my previous reviews below. Click on the titles in blue to see these books on Amazon.

Faerie Hearts (Faerie Sworn) by [C. Nieto, Ron]

My Review:

The in-between books in the Faerie Sworn series are short stories written from Troy's point of view. Faerie Hearts is Book 2.5 and it gives us more insight into Troy's feelings for Lily. There's restrained passion and fierce devotion. It's also about an adventure that Troy undertakes without Lily. He needs information, but in order to obtain it, he must accomplish a task. And as the author so aptly put it, "When he chooses to play, he always wins."

The Wild Herald (Faerie Sworn Book 3) by [Nieto, Ron C.]

My Review:

The Wild Herald is the third book in the Faerie Sworn series. Lily has been playing her own game, even tricking the trickster, Troy. She realized too late that she had trusted the wrong fairy and now she must keep her wits about her. How can Lily, a mere human, with the help of Troy, a kelpie, stand against two Queens and succeed? There is plenty of word play, adventure, twists and turns, and romance in this final story. I have enjoyed this series so much that I'll be reading it again! This series is appropriate for mature teenagers and new adults.
