Traitor of the Entitled
A Brand New Release!

Traitor of the Entitled: An Obsidian Queen Novella by [Cook, Shannon Lynn]

About the Book:

Title: Traitor of the Entitled: An Obsidian Queen Novella | Author: Shannon Lynn Cook | Pages: 97 | Genre: Urban Fantasy

Book Description:

It’s not easy being a fix-it girl in a sea of fire-wielders and healers, but Chloe doesn’t mind all that much. All her adult life, she’s kept her head down and ran her one-woman tech repair business, keeping out of everyone’s way and drawing as little attention to herself as possible.

Life is good. Or at least it is until Chloe meets Eric, a six-foot-four gladiator lookalike with the ability to simultaneously wield a gun in one hand and soothe a kitten with his other.

He’s a knight marshal.

He’s not to be trusted.

He’s also the nicest guy Chloe’s ever met.

Now Chloe’s life is careening down a dangerous path, and Eric just might be the only person she can rely on. But can she trust the enemy? And when it comes down to it, is he truly an enemy at all?

Author’s Note: Traitor of The Entitled is a novella-length companion to the Obsidian Queen series that takes place between Knights of Obsidian and Creatures of Midnight. It’s not intended to be read as a standalone.

My Review:

This is the story that needed telling! There are some pieces missing that we have to guess at in Knights of the Obsidian (Book 3) and those pieces get told through Chloe's POV in this novella, Traitor of the Entitled. The story also takes us past those events to set the scene for the next book in the series, Creatures of Midnight, which will be released in 2020. Eric, one of the knight marshals, shares the spotlight with Chloe. He gets to really shine and not just be a supporting character. This is an exciting and crucial novella with lots of feels. There's also a big reveal. Read it! You won't be disappointed.

Disclosure: I received an ARC. This is my honest and voluntary review.

About the Author:

Shannon Lynn Cook

Shannon Lynn Cook is a pen name for an Amazon bestselling author who woke up one day and decided life would be more interesting with magic and lots of love interests. (For her characters, not herself.)

She drinks too much sweet tea, prefers pie to cake, and hopes to someday own a hairless cat of her very own. Shannon lives in Colorado with her beloved (romance-hating) husband, two creative kids, and several extremely demanding fur babies.

Shannon also writes sweet young adult contemporary and fantasy fiction as Shari L. Tapscott.
