Happy Easter Sunday!

He is Risen!

It seems fitting that as I type this special Easter Sunday post, it is raining outside. We have been praying for rain and I thank all my readers who cared and those who prayed. It's not fun going through a drought and I love my garden and enjoy the flowers. I know others in South Africa have suffered worse during this drought and animals have died, so I can be thankful that it didn't hit us as hard.

Today I won't be hosting my usual weekend linky party. I always post it on a Friday, but this week went horribly wrong. Wednesday night we were burgled while we slept. Thankfully, nothing happened to us. We are fine and trusting God to work all things together for the good.

Oh, my, I'm so glad you are safe and soggy. I can't imagine that happening and I am praying for you. It is comforting to know that God is looking out for us.

Thanks for visiting, Betty! I enjoyed your churches of NZ. I was noticing a few days ago just how many churches about the size of the ones you photographed that are dotted throughout our town and hardly noticeable, because they are tucked away in neighborhoods and next to businesses.

We were praying last week for rain and it is amazing how God answers prayers. I hope you are all fine from the break-in, I will pray for your family. I look forward to hopefully seeing you back next week. I hope you had a wonderful Easter!

Oh no! I can't even imagine. The sandwich shop up the street from us was robbed at gun point a few weeks ago, and that was traumatic enough. I'm so sorry that happened to y'all.
