Christmas with the Recluse
by Victorine E. Lieske

Christmas with the Recluse by [Lieske, Victorine E.]

My Review of
Christmas with the Recluse:

This is a wonderful Christmas romance with all the feels. This is not just a fluffy story; it's deeply moving and one point had me nearly in tears. If you've ever lost a loved one, then you'll identify with these characters. Alexander is rude and abrasive while Charley is a breath of fresh air. The limited staff at Alexander's estate and the UPS guy are also fun side characters. Something I would have liked the author to develop further was showing off Charley's skill as an antique appraiser either during the story or in the epilogue, since it is a passion of hers.

A Tree for the Billionaire
by Michelle Pennington

A Tree for the Billionaire (Southern Billionaire Romance Book 4) by [Pennington, Michelle]

My Review of
A Tree for the Billionaire:

This is a "two weeks notice" romance with its own sweet characters and their touching story. It's a feel-good story and perfect for Christmas time. In fact, I think the title should have been "A Christmas for the Billionaire" since it's the holiday that makes the story more than an evergreen tree.

Kate has given her all in the past 2 years as the personal assistant to her billionaire boss, Christopher. She realizes that she can no longer work for him, since her heart breaks every time she sees him with a new dazzling girlfriend. When she hands in her notice, Chris realizes what he's about to lose and he's determined to change her mind. What he doesn't realize is that she is in love with him and he hasn't even had a chance to consider his own feelings for her. A Christmas holiday, something that he would normally never take, puts things into perspective. Kate isn't willing to play games - to be just a passing fling - but she is willing to show her boss, before heading home to her parents, that Christmas can be a special time of the year.

Taming Scrooge
by Sophia Summers

Taming Scrooge by [Summers, Sophia]

My Review of
Taming Scrooge:

Taming Scrooge is a wonderful clean Christmas romance with an interesting storyline. It's no wonder that Ezra Stone has been named Mr. Scrooge. He has bad memories of Christmas and only cares about making a profit with his new resort while Star Henley cares about more than just the bottom line. The two are pushed into working together on the Festival of Trees and sparks fly. Both Ezra and Star run hot and cold in this entertaining read. The chemistry between them was described simplistically. A clean read can still have good chemistry. It's a quick read and perfect for the holidays.
