Sisters and Horses at the Beach and a Linky

I get to play Paparazzi with the powerful zoom on my compact Canon PowerShot. On this day I took pics of my 3 girls, a friend, Ziggy (the miniature Schnauzer), and horses at the beach. We were at Britannia Bay on South Africa's West Coast. I've got some more photos (some of my favorite shots) over on 1camera1mom. Be sure not to miss them!

That takes a good photo and I bet you don't have the shake issues with the compact. My first digital camera was a PowerShot, I actually still have it. Such beautiful scenery and you got the classic horses riding in front of a wave shot too. Hi Ziggy!

Thanks so much for your encouragement! The shake issue only happens when I'm zooming too much, and since those images never turn out right, I don't zoom that far. But these photos are taken from the back yard of my in-laws' house, so I still have a lot of success with its zoom before it becomes shaky. Have a great week!
What lovely clear photos all that blue :-)

Have a beachtastic week :-)
Very beautiful photos. Everything is perfect in them. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have wonderful week.
Always love your pics, and certainly of BEACHes :D Is it common to see people horseback riding on the beach there?

Thanks! And thanks for the RT! I see someone horse riding about once or twice a week when I'm there, but I'm only there in the holidays like over Christmas or Easter.

Your photos are amazing. I especially like the one of the ocean with the different shades of blue.
