On Lockdown with Dogs and a Linky

Robbie, Jessica, and Amanda
with Koda and Biscuit

South Africa is on a 21-day lockdown and, for the most part, no one is allowed to leave their properties. This means our dogs are no longer able to go for their usual run, but they seem to be enjoying the extra attention that we’re giving them.

We adopted both adult dogs from different animal shelters. We’ve had Koda longer than Biscuit. The dogs have to be watched around our cats, especially Biscuit, because she has killed a cat before out in the bushveld. Even today, she went for Prince, but came up short because of her leash. I’ll share photos of our cats next time.

Looks very civilised all the same...lock down must be hard on the dogs. Hope it goes well!
Nice post and photos were on lockdown too in London arrg heheh

Have a safetastic week 😷😷
Ahh, there's you're comment box, I should probably change the https link I've got for you in my blog hop side bar. Why doesn't a secure page allow for comments? Anyhoo, it looks as if you're happy and safe and the dogs seem quite pleased with everything—naughty but adorable Biscuit. I've noticed the pets here seem sick of their owners and not being able to go up to people. Although it could me.
Twenty-one days, dang, It's almost two months they say before we peek her in Wisconsin. We have a "Safer At Home" order but since I'm a caregiver that doesn't apply to me and no one is stopping people or threatening to arrest anyone, or at least they aren't yet.
We are encouraged to go the parks and for good or not, the state park fees have been waived. Since I live close to one, that's not a good thing for me, but probably is for many families who you see in just about every outdoor recreation area.
I hope you are all keeping safe, healthy and occupied.

Our streets are pretty empty, so there’s no noise pollution. It’s peaceful by us, but our police and military mustn’t abuse their power to keep citizens in line in other parts of the country.
Sending a prayer your way for good health and safety while doing your job as a caregiver.
Looks like you are dong your best during the lockdown. Out street are empty here in the San Francisco Bay Area also. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a good week. Stay safe.

Thanks, you too, Patrick!
I guess the whole world is officially on lockdown. So I am very grateful for maintaining connections through blogging! I hope the pups are getting enough exercise just running your property. I have not had enough exercise myself because it just keeps raining here! Thanks for linking up.

Oh my! I can’t imagine being on lockdown in bad weather or without a garden. Our dogs are having fun running back and forth with dog food as motivation.
