Dragon School: The Dark Prince

Dragon School:
The Dark Prince

Dragon School: The Dark Prince by [Wilson, Sarah K. L.]

About the Book:

Title: Dragon School: The Dark Prince | Author: Sarah K. L. Wilson | Genre: Fantasy Adventure | Pages: 94 | Recommended Age: Young Adult

Book Description:

Who says all handsome princes are charming?

Hunted by the Magikas, Amel seeks refuge on a secluded island. But when she meets the prince of Baojang there, she realizes she can't stay in hiding. Someone needs to warn the Dominion of the plotted treachery - and quickly before her friend Savette is married off to one of them.

Fans of Anne McCaffrey’s Dragon Rider’s of Pern, Christopher Paolini’s Eragon and Rachel E. Carter’s First Year will love Dragon School.

The Dark Prince is Episode Three of Dragon School - expect a new episode every eighteen days!

Purchase on Amazon

My Review:

Dragon School: The Dark Prince is the third book in this fun and fast paced young adult series. Amel is learning to be a dragon rider, but she is at a severe disadvantage being crippled in one leg. However, Amel never gives up. She's also perceptive, loyal, and caring. In the third book, she faces greater perils. There's plenty of intrigue and good people die. Leng is severely injured and Amel must watch over him. Can she keep him alive when others want him dead? I can't wait to read more in the series!

My Favorite Quotes from Book 3:

Amel's thoughts:
It was just so hard to be ambitious when you knew that your all would never be as much as their average. Still, I pushed myself.

Amel's words:
“I’m not going to break. Just because I broke before doesn’t mean that I’m fragile.”

My Review:

The Best Is Yet To Come is a prequel novella that can be read before or after Her Best Match (Book 1). It's written from the viewpoint of billionaire Steven Gherring and is a fun read. This is a clean feel-good romance.

Her Best Match: A Romantic Comedy (The Best Girls Book 1) by [Dearen, Tamie]

My Review:

Her Best Match is the story of Anne Best, a Texas widow, who comes to work for billionaire Steven Gherring. Steven's grandmother wants to see him married and Anne happily joins forces with her to help find him his best match. Of course, Steven is not thrilled with the two of them meddling in his love life. This is a clean feel-good romance novel.

Title: Dragon School: Initiate | Author: Sarah K. L. Wilson | Genre: Fantasy Adventure | Pages: 86 | Recommended Age: Young Adult

Book Description:

Magic comes to Dragon School. Can it be trusted?

But when a friend is brutally injured, another has a dark secret, and Amel is entrusted with a vital message, she must question where her loyalties lie. Worse, Magikas have arrived at Dragon School and they bring both change and new prejudice against Amel.

With the home Amel found at Dragon School quickly disappearing, will she know who to trust or will her new friendships disappear as quickly as her safety?

Fans of Anne McCaffrey’s Dragon Rider’s of Pern, Christopher Paolini’s Eragon and Rachel E. Carter’s First Year will love Dragon School.

Initiate is episode two of Dragon School - expect a new episode every eighteen days!

Purchase on Amazon

My Review:

Dragon School: Initiate is the second book in the Dragon School series and is an exciting read! Amel's story is one of grit and determination as she tries to be all that she can with a disability that causes her to suffer prejudice and slows her down. Her friendships are tested and she's not sure who she can trust. This is a wonderful series and I can't wait to read more!

Christmas Symbols and a Linky

My mom and step-dad are visiting from the States! We haven't seen each other since 2013. They'll stay through Christmas and fly back before the New Year. This will be my last post and linky party for 2017. I wish everyone a blessed holiday and New Year 2018!

Like an evergreen tree, God never changes.

Candy canes remind us of Jesus, the Good Shepherd -
white for purity, red His blood, and stripes for His suffering.

The angels announced Jesus' birth.

Like the wreath is a circle,
God's love is never ending.

The star in the east guided the wise men.

Jesus is the Light of the World.
