Picture Perfect Party Linky #51

If you love animals, then you'll certainly enjoy your time at Disney's Animal Kingdom. They have a variety of wild animals to see including endangered species and a live bird show called Flights of Wonder.

We also went on a few rides, including Expedition Everest, which was a roller coaster that Amanda was big enough to ride. We also saw the amazing Festival of the Lion King. I had too many pictures to share, so I'll keep the ones from our safari ride for next week.

We did one character breakfast at Disney World and it was at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom. The food was delicious with lots to choose from. Visits from Mickey Mouse and friends were a highlight for Amanda. At one point, shakers were handed out and Amanda joined a line of kids behind Daisy Duck while they marched and shook their instruments to an African-style song.

If you are planning to one day make a trip to Disney World, then you'll want to check out these 7 Essential Sites, which helped me plan ours.

I hope so too! It's such a wonderful experience for the kids and the parents/grandparents who go with. ;) Make sure you give yourselves enough days to take it all in without being rushed. You don't have to stay in Disney World. We didn't. Although, if we had the money, I would have loved to.

Oh wow, what a lot of fun this looks like! I love that mountain shot.
It looks like you had a wonderful time at Disney World! You will always remember it fondly I'm sure :)

(I'm not sure why you didn't get a blog link when I visited last time, but here it is as requested: http://susannahill.blogspot.com. I write a very family-friendly blog - I'm a picture book author, so my blog is all about reading and writing picture books. I have a weekly feature called Perfect Picture Book Friday, currently on hiatus for the summer, but there's lots to browse :) )

Hi Susanna! Thanks for the link! I popped in and visited your blog and your friend, Julie the illustrator, too. I love your energy and what you do. I wish you lots of open doors. Send me reminders to visit, please. I'd probably like to get involved with one or two of your things. I hope you had a great summer! Ours will be starting soon. I'll probably have lost my Florida tan by then. :D
