Friday word prompts.

The theme this week on
is the letter C.

C stands for the Creativity that I put into my blogs. I strive to be Candid in my writing and I’m very Capable as an author. I love to include plenty of Color. I also include my own photography and thereby Create Captivating Content. I hope you find my posts Catchy and will want to return Continuously.

C stands for Consider the Lilies Poetry. Poetry by Christina Morley; Capturing life’s experiences. The Calla Lily is in my header. It was also in my Captivating wedding bouquet.

The sentence to finish on

We can either be traditional or non-traditional in the way we do things; I...

…often find myself doing things in a non-traditional way. I decided to follow my heart and get married and continue serving the Lord as a missionary, rather than go to college to earn a degree.

I chose to live in a country that was new to me.

As a Christian wife, I don’t believe that my husband is the only leader in our home, as the traditionalists often teach.

After having one boy and then a girl, I didn’t stop there. Just last night, one of the teachers at the high school was amazed when she heard that I had four kids.

We don’t attend a church of a specific denomination. We belong to a house church that is non-denominational/inter-denominational and if the group gets too big, we might have to find a building.

My kids have the space to discover their passion and to follow the path that suits them. They don’t have to get rich to be successful; they just have to lead fulfilling lives.

Great way to play around letter C Christina. And your being traditional in this regard is good. Thanks a lot for sharing and hosting us again, do have a super blessed weekend!

I love that you chose to live and do so many of the things you have done. I seriously enjoy hearing about it here in these posts. Also, your jewelry is gorgeous and totally will have to take a better look at! Thanks for linking up with us and of course linked with you as always. Have a great weekend :)

Hello Christina !
I love that you followed God's calling and moved to South Africa to be a missionary there and even put off college. That is a brave and to me an amazing choice you made. I sometimes wish I was that bold :) . I found you on the Faith-filled Friday Link Up at Missional Women and I just followed on Google+.

I looked forward to fellowshipping more with you ! God bless you today and favor you !

Great post, as a Catholic mom I struggle too. I love my faith, but don't agree with all the rules...I want Dino to accept everyone and chose to be who he is and to be happy.
Hi, Christina!

Thank you for linking up to my Healthy Life Linky Party! So nice to have you there. I always enjoy your posts very much, especially learning the brave choices you made through life. I have made some choices that have thrown my parents a bit but I don't regret any of them. I learned a ton from each one and each experience contributed to who I am today. A home church sounds lovely. :) Your jewelry is beautiful, by the way. Off to tweet this post. : ) Have a great weekend!

I love the color combinations in your jewelry. There is something oh, so appealing of glass beads. The blue ones remind me of the ocean. :)

Meant to say that it's so strange to me to see calla lilies blooming wild! Always interesting to see things like that. My grandmother is named Lillian, and when she got married (and wore her mom's dress, which I also wore in my wedding) she carried calla lilies.

In South Africa, they call the Calla Lily an Arum Lily. Here's a really nice link that I found: http://www.kew.org/plants-fungi/Zantedeschia-aeth...

I am so glad that I read your post this morning. Just reading about your house church brought me hope this morning. So thank you for including this in your list & for hosting the linkup each week!
Living life the way YOU see fit is what matters, and what creates your own traditions inside your family. It will shape your childrens' as well and that's just awesome.
We love your blog! Thank you for hosting this super fun party.

Have a great day,
