My Son's Prom and More with #WW #Linky

Welcome to my Picture Perfect
Party Linky #111!

The day before Samantha got her hair cut short, which you can see on "Where's Her Hair?", it was my son's prom. In South Africa it's called the Matric Farewell Dance.

What a nice looking couple. The dark shirt and light suit is really attractive.

She's beautiful. He's handsome. The car is awesome. The food looks delicious. Put all that together and I'm sure it was a great night!

Hahaha! Thanks, Teresa! Yes, they both had a great time. I'm so glad that we were able to be a part of it before the actual event, thanks to the girl's mom. Some parents in South Africa treat the Matric Farewell (prom) with as much fanfare as a wedding. I kind of got a small taste of that, but it wasn't over the top and I'm glad about that too.

LOVE the car! Great photos...
They look so elegant and very happy, I hope it turned out to be a great day. Oh and let's not forget that is a very cool car.
Wish you all a wonderful rest of the week!!

Thanks! Our neighbor let them use his car (he has three nice cars and they got to pick their favorite). He drove it to the event and then they climbed in and Jeremiah got to drive it a couple of feet to the entrance where the couples climb out and go inside to the matric farewell (prom). Our neighbor then climbed back into his car and drove it home. :)

Just saw this! How fun and they both looked so "pretty." Loved how the car matched the dress. :)

Thanks, Erin! I can't believe you had to go through all those steps to open a file! How awful. I'm sure there will be plenty of people needing your post. Take care.

Thanks, Michelle! I read your list. I remember Anne of Green Gables from my teenage years. I got frustrated with some of the later books in the series, they dragged on too much, but the first book is a real winner. I got to perform the musical at our high school in Germany (I was an Army brat). I was Diane (Anne's best friend) and I turned my hair black for the part. When the color began to wash out, it turned greenish. I had a green tint to my hair for months afterwards.

What gorgeous photos! Did they have fun?
Thanks for hosting the linky. We are excited to participate once again. A new cat (first pet larger than a hamster in our home) has renewed Darling Daughter's interest in Wordless Wednesday links. :)
