My mom-in-law baked Banting brownies - not really Samantha's thing, but they were delicious with the ice-cream, strawberries and chocolate sauce. I also baked her a cake that we ate the day after and I'll share photos next Tuesday. :)

Thanks, Maria! Yes, it was a treat seeing those flowers in bloom. My father-in-law commented that some of them were quite unique. We are spoiled with a huge variety of plants in South Africa. Unfortunately, up north the country is still suffering with drought.
