Amanda's 13th Birthday and a Linky!

Amanda turned 13 on Sunday! Jessica and Samantha went through a lot of effort to make sure she felt special. We've been in lockdown in South Africa for nearly a year now. We'd rather be safe than sorry so we're not complaining. However, schools have resumed with pandemic measures in place. Both big sisters head back to their universities this weekend.

Amanda's big sisters came up with the day's activities. Her morning began with a western twist on a Korean-style breakfast, followed by a scavenger hunt to find her presents, and then an afternoon high tea. The girls also baked Amanda her favorite cake, a chocolate swirl cheesecake! We ordered the sushi from a restaurant. That was beyond our skillset.
