Dogs and Daughters and a Linky

Last week I mentioned that our eldest daughter was home for Easter. These photos were taken on Easter Sunday. The four of us went to the park with our two dogs. We love our dogs. Both were adopted as adult dogs from different local shelters. Koda, the German Shepherd, has been with us the longest, and the other one is Biscuit.

It was a lovely day, as you can see! We're also heading into winter, so I have a yellow autumn leaf in the last pic. We don't really get to see many changes in colors in the trees.

Easter and the Pink Moon with Linky

Sunday was Easter and we had Amanda's big sister, Jessica, at home with us for three days. We had a gorgeous full moon that night. It was also the Pink Moon or the Paschal Moon. I took photos from my balcony. No filters were added.

My Birthday and a Linky

It was my birthday last Thursday and Hubby whipped up a yummy breakfast before taking Amanda to school. Dinner was a selection of Chinese takeaway foods. It was also her birthday gift to me and so she paid for some of it. The photo below is of some of the delicious things she chose for our meal. I also got lots of "Happy Birthday" wishes and felt thoroughly loved and blessed. Amanda Turns 14 and a Linky

It was Amanda's 14th birthday yesterday! She wanted to visit the Cape Town Waterfront, so we took her there on Saturday. We picked Jeremiah and Jessica up so we could all be together. Pets and Daughter with a Linky

The kitty above and the doggy below are my in-laws' pets. Their names are Tammy and Ziggy. Sadly, Tammy is no longer with us. She was an old girl and it was her time. I'm featuring her in my latest blog post on 1camera1mom. The photo of Ziggy is kind of funny because the ostrich bone is almost the same size as him.

I recently did a series with my kids on this blog and I had a few photos left of Jessica. I thought they were worth sharing. It's fun playing paparazzi. All these photos were taken during our December holiday.
