Athletics Day and a #WW #Linky

Welcome to my Picture Perfect
Party Linky #128!

Today's set of pictures include some of your not-so-typical athletics day photos. I was the proud mom photographing my child in her two races, but I was also photographing other things of interest too - things that were at or near the event like the large grave of 1828 and a helicopter taking flight.

The tombstone of Charles Trappes Esquire
This town was founded during
his administration - he was
Civil Commissioner of this district
(I only found that out when I took the photo.)

I remember when our oldest was in track. He didn't come in first, but he had a lot of fun.
We went wherever track was being held for the day, even if that meant a couple of hours away.

I always enjoy seeing old gravesides. Thankfully the one you picture has been taken good care of.
It's always a shame when I come across old gravesides that show definite signs of abandonment.

I just realized how tall Amanda looks. I was always the tallest in my class.
Now I have a son who is 6'5", big-boned and weighs 250.
He weighed 12# 2.5oz at birth.

Have a great day!

Hi Michelle! Amanda is also not the fastest, but she loves to run in races, so I'm happy for her. This was a school event where all the kids participated, at least all the kids in grade 1. I think the bigger kids get to choose other things, like shot put and so forth. Wow, your son is tall! Amanda looks particularly tall, because her best friend is a tiny firecracker of a child (she does one-handed somersaults effortlessly). ;) It looks like an interesting book that you reviewed. We use the word "Church" when we are referring to the global church and the word "church" for a particular fellowship. Have you read "Pagan Christianity"? Hubby and I don't agree with everything in that book, as you didn't in yours, but it certainly addresses important problems of how many churches operate. Be blessed!
