Sometimes I see a neat car and snap a quick photo. These interesting cars were spotted in South Africa, except for the last one. I took that in Berlin when I was a teenager after the Wall came down and scanned the printed photo onto my computer.

Hi, Christina! I haven't been here in the LONGest time, but have figured out a new system to keep up with the many blogs I want to so I'll be here more often, which I'm glad about :D

Just this past week I was at a 50s-themed Diner, though the car outside was probably from the 20s or 30s. It's there as a prop. Love that!

Yes, you're right. I get too many emails in my inbox daily and try to delete as many as possible, since it's overwhelming. I'm still "following you" via email and there are very few blogs that I follow this way, because of it. I prefer visiting via the comments that people leave on my blog. It feels more personal. I'm glad you haven't forgotten about me. :)

My husband is big into cars and we attend car shows just to see all the makes, models and styles available. I really like that painted VW Beetle.

Hi Terra! Thanks for visiting. It's interesting that you like the VW Beetle, since that was the one photo I wasn't so sure about including, because the image quality was poor. I'm so glad I did, because you're the second person to say you liked that one. I checked out your post. I love body washes. They make showering feel so decadent. ;)

This is really neat!

Oh, I must tell you a true story.
A member of our church is from Germany.
Her family still lives there.
When her brother came to visit, with his wife, we learned they met when the Wall fell.
They originally lived on either side of the Wall. I told my hubby about their chance meeting.
He said there are probably many more stories like that. Well, I thought it was pretty cool!
He has a pronounced German accent, her not so much. We especially loved hearing him talk.
