Weekend Blog Hop


Hi Friends! My weekend linky is running over two weeks, since I'm spending this time with my family before my son heads back to university on Sunday. The kids are having their winter break and will begin their third school term on Monday. For those of you who aren't familiar with my blog, I'm an American mom living in South Africa.

How is your winter going?
Sometimes I wish for winter, here.
Our a/c hasn't been working right this summer.
Just as hot inside as out...ugh

Hi Michelle! I read your comments about a week ago when I moderated them, but I didn't get back to the blog to reply. Sorry about your A/C not working properly. I prayed for you and hope that you guys are managing to get it sorted out. Our winter has been very cold. Some mornings our bedroom drops to 14 C (about 57 F) and the worst has been 13 C (about 55 F). We have an A/C unit in the living room and put it on to heat when we are feeling too cold. Electricity is expensive, so we use it a few hours at night and sometimes in the morning. Take care and God bless!
