My 3 Teenagers Preparing Fresh Mussels

Welcome to my Picture Perfect
Party Linky #177!

To continue the theme of "Seaside Holiday Food" from last week, today's photos are of the fresh mussels that we got from the Saldahna Bay harbor. Our three teenagers cleaned them and later helped my mother-in-law cook them.

Samantha and Jeremiah are featured in these photos, but Jessica was also there. You can see her painted blue thumbnail in the photo below and her silhouette framed in the doorway in the photo of her brother stirring the pan.

Until recently I ran a bistro where I specialised in mussels - I cooked them 40 ways! I have to say yours look delish!

Thanks for visiting, Keith! I'm glad you could visit with your daughter and son-in-law. I clicked on the photos and enjoyed them immensely. My step-dad is Scottish and lives in the States.

You have me drooling over here! Your kids did an amazing job! One of these days I hope my kids get interested in any kind of cooking - and if they can make something that looks as delicious as that, so much the better! :)
