Make My Saturday Sweet #199!
Last Black Friday I decided on the spur of the moment to take a break and not post my weekend linky. I hope it was a peaceful weekend for you all, unless you joined the shopping frenzy. We stayed home for most of the day, but my husband briefly visited the mall looking for a deal for Amanda's Christmas present. She's been wanting a tablet after her last one broke about a year ago and a decent quality one does not come cheap. Hubby was successful and managed to get one designed for kids that was more than half off the original asking price. Thankfully, she doesn't read her blog, because right now she has no idea and we want to keep it that way! š
Our big news this week is that Jeremiah turned 20 yesterday! Today's photos were taken on his birthday. We had a South African barbecue (Braai) with traditional farmer's sausage (Boerewors) and chicken with a sticky marinade. The 4 kids played South African Monopoly and I apologize the picture is a little blurry. He spent the rest of the day and night with friends.
