In case you were wondering, the peacocks were purchased by Amanda's primary school along with other birds like turkeys and geese. They also have rabbits. The peacocks roam freely and we live close by, so we see them daily.

You might have noticed that my garden is not very green. South Africa has been experiencing drought and we are on water restrictions. Please pray for rain!

Thanks, Lydia! I visited your post. I think if you live in the Northern Hemisphere, many countries go to town on Christmas decorations and lights and it's so much fun and looks so festive. You don't have to believe in Santa to enjoy it all. There's less of that when you hit the countries having summer over December like South Africa. There are still some decorations and a Christmas tune over the sound system depending on the store, but it's much less festive. I miss Christmas in the States, Germany and Switzerland - countries that I spent as a child over Christmas at different times. I try to maintain or adapt some traditions to fit our family. Enjoy your traditions with those who enjoy them with you! :)

Thanks, Patrick! I visited both linked posts. Your Xmas one was lots of fun, especially with people dressed up almost like Halloween, but for Xmas. I liked all the Christmas lights too and the white wooden reindeer head with green Christmas wreath. Wishing you a wonderful and blessed December!
