Our Cat and More with #WW Linky

Welcome to my Picture Perfect
Party Linky #95!

Meet Prince, Samantha's handsome cat. She picked him out from the SPCA when he was kitten. There were lots of kittens to choose from, but she got the best one. That's our opinion anyway.

You can see the post of Prince's adoption here, if you missed it. She first named him, Tabitha, because we were told it was a female. However, once he was a few months older, it was plain that he was a male.

Next week I'll share photos of Amanda playing outside with both our cats.

By the way, it's winter-time here in South Africa. That's why Amanda is so warmly dressed.

We've only had one family visit our home with an agent. It's very quiet at the moment, but we've been told by an agent (and we know it too) that we live on a really good street for potential buyers. We are really blessed to be in the home that we have. Are you guys living in Florida? I know that you did several posts on St. Augustine and the video of Kira with face paint looks like Florida condos. Would love to keep in touch. :)

Aw! That's too bad. Cats are easy pets and fun to watch. Fish are also fun to watch without the allergies, but I think they are harder to take care of. :)

Oh my goodness Tina, we had a cat named Heidi who got bigger. I thought she was a tad homely for a girl. After "she" got bigger, my neighbor, NOT my vet, informed me Heidi was a boy! I have never laughed so hard in my life! He was a late bloomer!! Now his name is Hans and he's quite the handsome flame point Siamese!! You're the first other person I've known to misname a cat!

What are those flowers in the vase? They are so interesting. Can you take some close-ups for next week??

Hans sounds like a lovely cat. My flowers are getting a bit old, but I did take photos yesterday, just not any close-ups. I'll see if I can get a couple of nice close-ups today. The white ones are a type of protea, but I think they are a hybrid, because typical proteas like these are pinkish. Someone told us that the dark orange ones are from Australia, but I don't know what they are called and I never saw them before in South Africa, so that would make sense.

We've had the most gorgeous but eccentric cat adopt us. He is completely running the house at the moment. It's like having a toddler all over again, only thing he is 7 and I'm thinking at this stage he is set in his cat ways and there is no hope of training him to our schedule. I'm not enjoying the 4am wake up calls.

Is that the Ragdoll cat that I read about before? We (mainly Hubby) would throw a house shoe at Prince if he tried to wake us up before 6 am. He got the message and stopped doing it, but he's a much younger cat, so maybe more trainable. :)

Hi! So nice to meet you! I found you on Create with Joy's WW. :-) What a handsome kitty you have there! He reminds me of a boy kitty we used to have, named Baby. I'm not usually the pushy sort, but your girls might enjoy my WW post from today. I was lucky enough to see some insect hatchlings! I think they are ladybugs, or a similarly colored beetle. :-) I had been watching the cluster of eggs I found on a leaf on a plant on my front porch for a few days, and today I got a wonderful surprise!
