Picture Perfect Party Linky #12

One of the ways we celebrated Samantha's 12th birthday was to take her and her two friends ice skating at the Grand West in Cape Town. I think I was just as excited about going as Sammy was. In fact, we all were. It was the first time for the three sisters. Jeremiah went once before and that was back when he was in preschool.

Now on to the blog hop...

Hi Erica! Your link is broken (I think you typed it wrong). I only just realized now. Could you re-link again and make sure it's to a specific picture post, because I think you tried to link your homepage. I want to visit your post and leave a comment. Thanks so much!
Ops I did it wrong can you delete it? I will do it again! :)
Ok done! sorry about that :)
Looks like fun! My oldest daughter does ice skating and is almost ready to join the figure skating club! newest follower! Please follow back.
Definitely a fun way to celebrate one's birthday. Lovely shots. Thanks for hosting. I am a new Follower of your Blog.
happy birthday to your daughter!! looks like fun!
Happy Birthday to your baby. She is way better than me. I can hardly skate on wheels, she's awesome for taking on ice skating.

Thanks! I was amazed that she kept going after two hours. Even when she felt tired, she didn't want to stop. She basically made little steps around and around the rink, so she worked harder than if she had been gliding. The next morning she asked when we could go back! We live too far away to make it a regular thing, but maybe for her birthday next year. She's already begun to ask! :)
Wow, I haven't been ice skating in forever. Looks like y'all had a blast. And happy bday to Samantha!

Thanks for hosting a linky! :)

The first time you get on the ice, you feel really stupid! Balance and everything! You have to decide to just have a good time no matter how silly you might look. :) I hope you get the chance!
It does look like it's fun. I haven't ice skated in YEARS!
This looks like so much fun, very cute Picture!...
We invite you to come and share via our Linky party: http://www.craftyspices.com/others/blog-hops/word...

It looks like a wonderful time.

Stopping by from SITS
Visiting from SITS. I love ice skating. I use to take lessons when I was a kid. I'm hoping to bring my 5 year old daughter this Winter.
Hi Christina! I'm a new follower from the Friendly Friday blog hop! I just wanted to come say hi and introduce myself!

I think ice skating is a great way to celebrate your birthday! My daughter turned 10 this summer and we almost had her party at the ice skating rink, but decided to do that next year instead!
